“Nurse Christy NYC” (@NurseChristyNYC) Always envisioned an aesthetic practice where safe, personalized patient care meets artistic skill. Having studied art and interior design as an undergrad, Christy has always had an eye for beauty and aesthetics. SkinSplendid was created based on a need for an unconventional aesthetic med spa. Christy has created a holistic approach to medical aesthetics by focusing on the patient’s overall health and nutrition and incorporating that into an aesthetic treatment plan that is patient focused. As an adult nurse practitioner, and registered nurse for over twenty years, Christy has worked in many areas of medicine and her focus has always been on overall patient safety, health and wellness through a patient-centered approach.
In 2014, after leaving critical care and bedside nursing, Christy began working in the field of Dermatology and Plastic Surgery. Since then, Christy has regularly attended trainings and conferences all over the country learning the latest and safest ways to treat her patients. Christy became a national injection trainer in 2018 and trains physicians and other providers all over the country on injectables and threading techniques.
The goal of SkinSplendid was to create a place where patients could come for concierge aesthetic treatments and not feel rushed or pushed into procedures that were not right for them. Christy wanted to create services that were results oriented. This is where experience and assessment skills matter most. At SkinSplendid, Christy works with each patient to determine the best treatments to meet their aesthetic goals whether that is fewer wrinkles, fuller lips, clearer and healthier skin, or a more youthful appearance!
Nurse Christy is a member of the American Nurses Association and of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses. She has been a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist and is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Emma Adams, BSN, RN
Nurse Emma, BSN, RN (@NurseEmmaNYC) joined SkinSplendid in 2022 and trained under Nurse Christy. She is passionate about aesthetics, skincare, injectables, and helping her patients live their best life!
Emma is a graduate of the University of Vermont School of Nursing and she see patients in both the New York, NY and Montclair, NJ SkinSplendid locations.

Eliza, Business Analyst
Eliza Adams, Business Analyst
Eliza Adams is a graduate from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Economics. Eliza is back at SkinSplendid full time after being Nurse Christy’s original assistant at the start of SkinSplendid back in 2020. Now, Eliza focuses on the backend workings of the business, but don’t be surprised to see her helping out in the procedure rooms every once in a while!
As Nurse Christy’s second child, Eliza has always had the same entrepreneurial spirit as her mother, mixed with a passion for intersecting business and activism, especially for LGBTQ+ rights. Her professional background is made up of several various positions and internships in corporate finance. Eliza is also a professionally-trained ballet dancer who brings the discipline and creativity learned from ballet to work with her at SkinSplendid.
Aside from growing the business, Eliza spends her time dancing, drinking coffee, or taking her fiancée and 2 dogs for a walk around town.
Meredith Eaton, Administrative Coordinator
Meredith is a SkinSplendid patient turned employee with a background in producing television and theater. She enjoys using her experience and creative talents to help grow our business. The highlight of her day is welcoming and getting to know our wonderful patients. In her free time, she enjoys tennis and pickleball, trivia nights, cooking, jigsaw puzzles and Broadway shows.

Nurse Ivy (@NurseIvy.Skinsplendid) is a registered nurse, dual-licensed in New York and New Jersey. A magna cum laude graduate of Rutgers University’s rigorous nursing program, Ivy brings extensive experience in dermatology and perioperative care. Her skincare expertise was honed at top dermatology clinics, where she specialized in laser treatments, Hydrafacials, and assisted in MOHs procedures for skin cancer. Her perioperative work in a level one trauma center allowed her to assist in major surgeries, which further deepened her understanding of advanced surgical techniques, patient care, and human anatomy. Ivy is passionate about educating patients on the importance of skincare, firmly believing that skincare is healthcare. She views the skin – our largest organ – as a reflection of our overall health and believes it deserves the same dedicated care and attention as the rest of the body. Nurse Ivy is following the clinical ladder training at SkinSplendid, taught by Nurse Christy – the same training that Nurse Emma received as well.
In her free time, Ivy enjoys traveling the world and swimming – particularly scuba diving. She also enjoys tutoring nursing students on foundational nursing topics.
Amelia Boyle, RN
Nurse Amelia is a registered nurse hailing from Australia. Bringing her specialization in laser facials and energy-based skin treatments, she developed her expertise in skin assessment, laser technology, and individualized treatment planning for patients across a diverse range of skin types.
Prior to nursing, Amelia worked as a veterinary technician, where she gained extensive experience assisting in surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostic ultrasound.
Amelia believes that skincare is healthcare and views aesthetic treatments as an extension of overall wellness. She prioritizes patient education, with a philosophy of enhancing your own natural beauty in a step by step process to make you look and feel your best.
